I’ve worked in youth and community development for 9 years. I became an employee of Catholic Charities December 2019. I graduated from Cheyney University with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management. I believe it is a privilege to have an opportunity to impact the youth and guide them on their road to success.

I’ve been part of an amazing organization named Catholic Charities since October 2018. In 2016, I graduated from John Jay college for Criminal Justice, where I was able to experience working with the youth. Throughout the years I’ve gravitated to serve and impact the community and also the youth in many ways. As I continue my journey working as a Youth Advocate, I hope to see impact and change within the youth and community.

I’ve been an employee of Catholic Charities for 10 years. I started my career with CCCCS working as an administrative assistant at a Learning to Work program, at Innovation Diploma plus high school in the Upper West Side. I studied Hospitality Management at Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. I’ve been a part of the Learn and Earn Program for the past 5 and a half years, at the High School for Health Careers and Sciences. I loves working in this community because this is the community that welcomed me 20 plus years ago when I arrived from the Dominican Republic for the first time. Working at HSHCS gives me the opportunity of giving back by working with youth and helping guide them in their last years in high school and post-secondary transition.

I graduated from The College Academy (formally known as International Business & FInance) right here on the George Washington Educational Campus in 2006. I have been working in the campus for 13 years— the last four with Catholic Charities and NYP as Social Worker (LMSW). As a Social Worker, I support and relate to the amazing students of Health Careers & Sciences—working with them one on one as well as in groups. My goal is to continue to support these amazing students as well continue to create fun opportunities and spaces for them to enjoy school and feel understood.

Evan Cuttitta
I prepare our Juniors and Seniors to become proactive and confident leaders in college and their future careers. I firmly believe that every student carries unique talents, experiences and leadership skills to attain their ideal college education and career; but it is up to their educators to provide opportunities for students to apply and recognize their own potential. My beliefs and passion for student leadership largely stem from the compassionate support I received from mentors and peers to empower me through school at the University of Vermont. Since graduation in 2016, I’ve helped college-bound youth become the leaders they envisioned. I first served first-year low-income college students in Vermont as an academic coach and financial aid counselor, helping them navigate campus life as independent adults. Returning to NYC, I then coordinated food and health programs for homeless students throughout the Bronx as a Program Associate for the NYC Department of Education.
